01 The MoveMINT

I carry a lot of insecurity about my body (still do). When the MINT Wear team put the word out asking for dad bods I thought long and hard before putting my hand up. There's surprisingly few examples of fashion brands embracing the full range and men's bodies which doesn't leave much room for body positivity.
I want our tamariki to know that normal can mean a lot more than chiselled abs.
I earned my dad bod by supporting my young whānau while being the first in my family to earn a degree at university and supporting causes that make the world a better place.

I'm proud of the fact that all those hours that could have gone into the gym have gone towards a life of service instead.

Here's to all the dad bods out there making their way in the world and here's to MINT Wear for changing the conversation.
